This morning I woke up at 3am with what can only be described as a brain explosion.
My head was throbbing and filled with stabby pain and just generally uncomfortable, every time I opened my eyes the world felt like it was spinning, and my entire body ached so much I thought I was going to cry.
I slept on an off until about 10am, then lay around listening to netflix with my eyes closed until about 4pm, when I was FINALLY able to sit up and open my eyes without feeling as though I was going to pass out and vomit.
So…yeah. I had a great day.
It’s now 7:30pm and I’m feeling hungry for the first time all day (a solid hour after I ate dinner), and I’m feeling much better than I was but still so exhausted.
I was supposed to catch up with a friend from back in Adelaide this afternoon after uni, and then get dinner with my friends, but considering I’ve spent the entire day in the dark feeling like I was going to pass out whilst lying down, none of that happened. Sorry everyone!
Hopefully I’ll be fine again by tomorrow, so I can get back to the gym, do my readings and going my history class pub night.
I don’t feel at all unwell besides the ridiculous headache dizziness, so if you have any ideas of what it was, feel free to let me know!
It also felt like a bit of a milestone, the first time I’ve felt ill/unwell/poorly (:P at A, he hates that word) since being away from home aside from a bit of an upset tummy after my flights. Admittedly, I’m pretty self sufficient when I’m sick anyway, but it would have been nice if someone had been here to bring me apple and cheese in my apple and cheese bowl, or watch Grand Designs in bed with me whilst I felt miserable.
Still, the worst is over, and I already feel as though tomorrow will be a better day!
